Army Officer Candidate School No.2 presents house to disadvantaged cadet’s family
PANO – On March 21, in Dai Hai commune, Can Tho City, the Army Officer Candidate School No.2, in coordination with local Party committees and authorities, presented a “VND 100 house” to the family of Private First Class Pham Anh Vi, a first-year cadet of Company 3, Battalion 1 of the school.
Attending the event were Major General Le Khac Huy, Deputy Political Commissar of the school, along with representatives of local authorities and armed forces.

The “VND 100 house” was built from contributions and savings of officers, Youth Union members, and young people across the school, reflecting solidarity, mutual support, and a strong sense of responsibility toward comrades facing difficult circumstances. The project carries not only material value but also significant spiritual encouragement, helping the family of Private First Class Pham Anh Vi stabilize their lives.
The house has an area of nearly 100 sq.m., with a total cost of over VND 140 million. Of this, the school provided VND 80 million from its “VND 100 house” fund, while the remaining amount was contributed by Battalion 1 and local benefactors.

Speaking at the handover ceremony, Major General Le Khac Huy emphasized that supporting the construction of “VND 100 houses” is a practical activity contributing to the emulation movements of the school’s youth in celebration of the 95th anniversary of the establishment of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 – 2026).
He expressed his hope that Private First Class Pham Anh Vi would continue striving in study and training, overcome difficulties, and successfully fulfill assigned tasks. He also called on local Party committees, authorities, and organizations to continue supporting the family so that the cadet can focus on his studies.

At the event, Private First Class Pham Anh Vi expressed deep emotion and gratitude, affirming that the house is a meaningful gift that helps his family realize their dream of stable housing.
