Dak Lak border guard presents 300 national flags to fishermen
PANO - An Hai Border Post under the Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard Command, and the Farmers’ Association of O Loan commune presented 300 national flags to local fishermen and distributed 12 gift packages, worth VND 300,000 each, to disadvantaged fishermen in the commune on April 21.

The activity was part of a program, held by the two units to mark the 51st anniversary of the South Liberation and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - 2026), International Workers’ Day on May 1, and the 65th anniversary of the foundation day of the Liberation Farmers’ Association of South Vietnam (April 21, 1961 - 2026).
During the program, officers of An Hai Border Post and the Farmers’ Association of O Loan commune disseminated information related to sea and islands situation, the situation of fishing activities and fishing-ground disputes, and regulations on combating illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing.

The program helped raise legal awareness and compliance among local farmers and fishermen. Cultural and artistic exchange activities were also held, creating a lively atmosphere and attracting broad participation from association members and fishermen.
