During the event, delegates, teachers, and students were briefed on the recent situation in Vietnam’s maritime areas, as well as the position, role, functions, duties, and traditions of the Vietnam Coast Guard in general and Coast Guard Region 3 in particular. A highlight of the program was the field visit to the unit.

Students had the opportunity to explore a coast guard vessel firsthand and learn about the living conditions and duties of coast guard officers and soldiers in enforcing the law at sea. Through these practical experiences, the image of coast guard personnel was vividly and closely portrayed, helping nurture the students’ trust, affection, and pride in the force tasked with safeguarding the nation’s maritime sovereignty.

As part of the program, students also engaged in exchanges and listened to stories shared by historical witnesses from the Ho Chi Minh City Association of POWs. These activities contributed to educating them about the nation’s revolutionary traditions, inspiring noble ideals, and strengthening their sense of responsibility as the younger generation.
