The dissemination highlighted the roles, responsibilities, and necessary actions of fishermen in participating in protecting national sovereignty over sea and islands.
On this occasion, the region’s military medical personnel and doctors from Hung Vuong Hospital provided free health check-ups, health consultations, and medicines to policy beneficiaries, poor households, and local fishermen.
In addition, the Coast Guard Region 3 Command organized a signing ceremony for trawler owners, captains, and fishermen to commit themselves not to violate IUU fishing regulations. The unit also presented 40 gifts to policy families and disadvantaged fishermen in the area.
