The delegation offered incense and flowers at Hang Keo and Hang Duong cemeteries. In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, delegates observed a minute of silence, expressing their deep gratitude to the heroic martyrs who bravely sacrificed their lives for the Fatherland’s independence and freedom.

On this occasion, officers, soldiers, and Women’s Union members of the Ho Chi Minh City Military Command also participated in beautifying Hang Duong cemetery.

In addition, the command’s Women’s Union Organization held various practical activities, such as the “Military-civilian grateful breakfast” program; and granting 30 scholarships, 100 gifts, and 20 free cataract surgeries to disadvantaged locals.
The delegation also presented gifts to female members of the Defensive Area Command Region 6 - Con Dao Special Zone, and visited and gave presents to former political prisoners, wounded and sick soldiers, and national contributors.

Furthermore, the female members held the “Motivating the training season” program, presented a bookcase to Infantry Battalion 2, and visited local historical relics, including the Con Dao Museum, Phu Tuong Prison, and Pier 914.
Notably, the delegation also hosted environmental protection activities, such as releasing baby sea turtles into the ocean and planting trees. Through these activities, the delegation aimed to spread the “green living” message and raise public awareness and responsibility regarding maritime and island environmental protection.

The series of activities provided an opportunity for the officers, soldiers, and members to link movements with practical deeds, contributing to building the image of dynamic and responsible military women who are always dedicated to the community.
