During the visit, Gen. Nguyen Trong Nghia and the delegation conducted a field inspection and heard reports delivered by leadership of relevant units.
He highly praised the Party Committee and Chain-of-Command of Military Region 7 and relevant units for their close coordination with higher level agencies and their proactiveness in planning, developing curricula and programs, and ensuring facilities and barracks for the school.
Regarding future tasks, the GDP’s chief asked the school’s Party Committee and Board of Administrators to implement higher level guidelines and solutions on education and training, especially Politburo Resolution No.71 on breakthroughs in education and training development.

The school is urged to proactively develop and refine teaching content and programs in a standardized, modern, and distinctive direction, with a focus on healthcare, psychological well-being, moral education, and fostering of patriotism, life ideals, discipline observance, and life skills among students.
Gen. Nghia requested the school to promote cultural identities of ethnic groups during education, nurture talented students, and closely cooperate with students’ families and localities in student management and education. He asked the school cadres and teachers to promote their exemplary role, enthusiasm and responsibility.
The school should also learn from local reputable institutions and organize exchange programs, visits, and traditional activities.

Gen. Nghia believed that with unity and determination, the school will be proactive and cohesive, create synergy, and effectively fulfill its mission of building human sources for the military, serving national building and defense cause in the new situation.
While in Ho Chi Minh City, Gen. Nghia visited Cu Chi Tunnels Historical Relic Site under the Ho Chi Minh City Command, Military Region 7, during which he hailed the site’s generations of staff for their great efforts.

He suggested the site’s Party Committee, Board of Directors, and staff continue to bring into play the revolutionary traditions, preserve and enhance the value of this special national relic site, and strengthen tradition education so that Cu Chi Tunnels remain a “great school” to spread patriotism and resilient spirit of the “Steel Land of the Fatherland.”
