Air Force Officer Candidate School presents gifts to disadvantaged children
PANO - On October 5, the Air Force Officer Candidate School, a member of Emulation Cluster No.2, co-organized a gift-giving program for disadvantaged families and children in Khanh Son commune, Khanh Hoa province.
The co-organizers were the Traditional Liaison Board of Veterans of Southwestern Commando - Paratroop Division 305 and the “Chung mot nhip dap Sai Gon” (Sharing the Same Heartbeat Saigon) charity association.

Major General Le Van Uy, Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of the Air Force Officer Candidate School, and Ha Hong Hanh, Deputy Head of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Information, Education, and Mass Mobilization, attended the event.
At the program, a computer set, 20 tables, and 100 student chairs were presented to Son Ca Kindergarten. Ten sets of desks and chairs were given to Son Hiep Primary School. One hundred gift packages were handed over to disadvantaged families and 500 other gifts to local children. The total value of donations exceeded VND 200 million.

Speaking at the event, Major General Le Van Uy emphasized that the activity was a meaningful and practical deed, demonstrating the care and responsibility of officers and soldiers from Emulation Cluster No.2 toward people in remote, mountainous, and ethnic areas. He affirmed that such efforts contributed to strengthening the military-civilian bond and enhancing the image of the Uncle Ho’s soldiers - air force troops in the hearts of local residents.
