Reportedly, before and during the Tet holiday, leaders of ship operating at sea promoted high determination and responsibility in performing their assigned tasks. Despite harsh weather conditions at sea, all coast guards overcame difficulties to ensure combat readiness.

Addressing the meeting, leaders of the Vietnam Coast Guard Command acknowledged and encouraged the troops to further accomplish their assigned missions at sea and on islands, while closely working with relevant forces, and making good preparation for troops to welcome a happy and safe Tet holiday.

Earlier, an exchange was held at the headquarters of the Vietnam Coast Guard Command. On behalf of the command, Major General Le Quang Dao hailed the troops’ great efforts in overcoming difficulties in task performance, contributing to firmly safeguarding the national sovereignty over sea and islands, deserving the trust of the Party, State, people, Central Military Commission, and Ministry of National Defense.

On the occasion of the lunar New Year 2023, leaders of the Vietnam Coast Guard Command wished its troops good health and happiness so as to best perform all assigned missions.

This was an annual activity on the occasion of the lunar New Year, showing the care of the Vietnam Coast Guard Party Committee and Chain-of-Command towards its troops on duty on the traditional holiday, thereby encouraging them to well fulfill their tasks.
