Hailing the achievements recorded by naval troops over the past time, Thinh expressed her trust in their political stance, combat will, professional competence and responsibility for their missions. She asked naval units to promote the glorious tradition of the Vietnam People’s Navy, continue carrying out defense external relations, participate actively in natural disaster relief and search and rescue missions as well as to provide further support for fishermen.

Delivering a report on naval units’ task performances over the past time, Senior Colonel Phan Tuan Hung, Naval Region 4’s Commander affirmed that naval troops are absolutely loyal to the Party, State and people, have firm political stance and high determination to overcome difficulties, actively study to master newly-assigned weapons and participate in search and rescue missions, contributing to firmly safeguarding national maritime sovereignty and ensuring a safe environment for marine economic development.

On the occasion, the Vice State President and businesses presented gifts to troops in Truong Sa island district, needy families of non-commissioned officers and children of troops of naval units stationed in Cam Ranh city.
