In addition to Su-30MK2, the formations of helicopters, C-295 and C-212i transport aircraft, Yak-130 combat trainer jets, and L-39NG jet attack trainers also rehearsed in preparation for the upcoming event.

According to the plan, the Air Defense – Air Force Service will perform a ceremonial flypast during the celebration, with a total of 40 aircraft, including reserves.

The aircraft took off and landed at Hoa Lac and Gia Lam airports in Hanoi, as well as Kep Airport in Bac Ninh province.

Tens of thousands of people dressed in red shirts with yellow stars, waving Party and national flags, gathered around Ba Dinh Square, cheering and applauding the flight formations during the rehearsal.

In recent weeks, units of the Air Defense – Air Force Service have been training tirelessly in preparation for the upcoming parade.

Below are photos of the event.
