At the event, delegates assessed and drew lessons learned from the first joint rehearsal held at Ba Dinh Square on the evening of August 21. To ensure thorough preparation for the upcoming rehearsals and the official ceremony, Sen. Lt. Gen. Nguyen Van Nghia required agencies and units to continue disseminating instructions and educating troops to uphold discipline, overcome difficulties, and heighten their sense of responsibility and determination in performing the mission. Units were tasked to review video footage so that each individual and formation could learn from experience.
In addition, agencies were instructed to refine scripts, maneuver plans, troop deployment methods, and assembly areas to ensure tight, seamless, and safe coordination. The narration for each formation, ensuring synchronization with units as they march past the reviewing stand must be perfected. The General Department of Logistics and Technical Services were assigned to ensure the technical readiness of vehicles, arrange tow vehicles for contingency handling, and strengthen coordination in communications, transportation, security, and safety. Adequate support must also be provided for foreign military contingents participating in the Mission A80.
