After inspecting the implementation of Party and political work of Regiment 143 under Division 315, the visiting delegation evaluated that in the first months of this year, the unit has synchronously and comprehensively carried out Party and political work. As a result, solidarity among troops has been consolidated, democracy has been promoted, and the combat strength of Party committees and Party organizations has been firmly maintained.
Concluding the inspection at Division 315, Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet acknowledged and highly appreciated the division’s outcomes in Party and political work. He said that the unit’s Party Committee has fulfilled all assigned missions despite difficulties and challenges.
The GDP’s deputy director asked the division to continue fostering solidarity, promoting democracy, effectively carry out political and ideological education to heighten troops’ stance, vigilance, and combat readiness capabilities. He also urged the unit to pay more attention to raising troops’ material and spiritual life and regularly learning troops’ thoughts.

The same day, the mission inspected the Coast Guard Region 2 Command’s implementation of Party and political work. After checking the unit’s performance, the delegation said that over the past time, the Party Committee of Coast Guard Region 2 has embraced and synchronously implemented resolutions and directives of the Party, the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, and the Vietnam Coast Guard Command.
Under the direction of the Party Committee of the Coast Guard Region 2 Command, coast guard units have taken various measures to comprehensively and synchronously carry out the “Promoting traditions, contributing talent, and deserving to be Uncle Ho’s soldiers” movement in the new period. Agencies and units in the region have effectively implemented both regular and unexpected missions.
Together with consolidating solidarity and promoting democracy, Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet urged law enforcement troops of Coast Guard Region 2 to continue cooperating with fishermen in conducting search and rescue and helping fishermen fish at sea. The region should work with agencies, organizations, and local authorities to disseminate the Law on the Sea of Vietnam and illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing, contributing to firmly safeguarding national sovereignty over sea and islands.

During the inspection, the visiting delegation laid flowers and offered incense in commemoration of fallen soldiers at the War Cemetery of Quang Nam province and paid tribute to heroic Vietnamese mothers at the Vietnamese Mother Statue on Cam mountain, Tam Phu commune, Tam Ky district, Quang Nam province.
