They welcomed the New Year with artistic programs, banh chung-making competition, and folk game playing.

These activities brought both joyful and warm atmosphere to each officer and soldier, particularly those who welcomed the New Year far from home for the first time. This helped the troops feel at ease to work, promote solidarity, stay ready to take on and complete all assignments.

* On January 30 (the second day of the first month in the lunar calendar), the Military Command of Quang Ninh province organized an attractive program for its troops to celebrate the 95th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - 2025) and welcome of Tet 2025.

The program was joined by relatives of troops, who live nearby the command’s headquarters.

Private First Class Nguyen Thanh Dat from Military Police-Guard Platoon under the command’s Staff said that this was his first Tet in the military life. The program was a healthy and useful playground helping young soldiers on duty feel the close, warm and joyful Tet atmosphere as if they were celebrating Tet with their family.

While celebrating Tet holiday, troops still practice scenarios to be active in any circumstances.
