Military Region 1 delegation presents Tet gifts to patients
PANO - On January 27, a delegation from the Military Region 1 Command, led by Major General La Cong Phuong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of Military Region 1, held a Tet gift-giving program for patients at Military Hospitals 110 and 91 under the Department of Logistics and Technical Service of Military Region 1.
The program aimed to encourage and support patients undergoing treatment and their families at the two hospitals, helping them overcome difficulties and enjoy a warm Tet (lunar New Year) festival.

At the hospitals, on behalf of the delegation, Major General La Cong Phuong encouraged and presented 110 gift sets, each worth VND 460,000, to critically ill patients, those suffering from serious diseases, and patients from disadvantaged families.
On this occasion, the Bac Ninh Municipal Youth Union also donated 50 gift sets worth a total of VND 30 million to patients receiving treatment at Military Hospital 110.

In addition to the visits and gift-giving activities, Military Region 1 instructed Divisions 3 and 346 to provide food from the agricultural and livestock efforts of their officers and soldiers. This enabled the medical staff at the two hospitals to prepare nearly 400 free meals daily, valued at VND 179,000 each, for patients and their caregivers during the Tet holiday.
