Visiting Search and Collection Team K70 of the Political Division of Military Region 7, the GDP leader praised it for gathering and repatriating 121 sets of remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers who sacrificed their lives during wartime in Cambodia. He stressed that the search and repatriation of fallen soldiers’ remains is a special political mission, requiring continued close coordination, strong external affairs and mass mobilization work, perseverance, and the upholding of the qualities of Uncle Ho’s soldiers.
At Military Hospital 175 under the Ministry of National Defense, Gen. To lauded its outstanding performance in 2025 and the responsibility and professionalism of its medical staff. He asked for further improvements in human resources, medical quality, scientific research and application, and readiness for duty, emergency care, and treatment during the upcoming Tet especially in sea and island areas. On this occasion, he also visited and presented gifts to senior officers undergoing treatment at the hospital.

Gen. Tung praised the units’ pro-activeness and great efforts in training, combat readiness, Party and political work, disaster response, and Tet preparations. Emphasizing the special significance of 2026, the first year implementing resolutions of the 14th National Party Congress and all-level Party congresses, the GDP leader urged units to deeply grasp the Party’s guidelines, raise responsibility and show high resolve to fulfill tasks from the start of the year.

He also required units to organize healthy, appropriate Tet activities; ensure policies for soldiers, especially those in difficult circumstances; actively participate in gratitude and military family support programs; and maintain strict combat readiness throughout the holiday to avoid any surprise situations. He also extended New Year greetings to all officers and soldiers.
* During combat readiness inspection at the Naval Region 1 Command, Hai Phong Municipal Military Command, and the Coast Guard Region 1 Command, the GDP’s Deputy Director Sr. Lt. Gen. Le Quang Minh praised the units’ achievements and urged them to strictly observe duty regulation, rehearse contingency response plans suited to real conditions, ensure security and confidentiality, and effectively manage weapons and equipment. He asked them to pay attention to building strong Party organizations, maintaining internal unity and close military-civilian relations, and caring for the material and spiritual life of troops, particularly on-duty ones, so that they can enjoy a safe, economical, and cozy Tet holiday.
