While inspecting Division 330, Gen. Cuong praised the division’s obtained results over the past time. He requested the unit to continue education and dissemination to enhance troops’ awareness of combat readiness missions; closely follow the developments of situations of localities, especially border areas; make thorough preparation for the conference to review task performance in the first half of the year; ensure adequate weapons and equipment for training, exercises, and combat readiness missions; actively carry out mass mobilization to help policy beneficiaries and needy households in the locality where it is stationed.

At the working session with the provincial military command and border guard command, the Chief of the General Staff highlighted their outstanding achievements over the past time. He asked the units to make recommendations to local party committees and authorities to lead and direct the implementation of military-defense missions; well carry out enlistment and discharge work; organize refresher courses on defense and security. 

Gen. Cuong asked the provincial military command and border guard command to review, supplement, and effectively carry out programs in 2024; pro-actively enhance the ability of researching and forecasting situations; practice scenarios to promptly handle circumstances in a timely and effective manner; well organize defensive area exercises.

In addition, the units were asked to thoroughly grasp and strictly carry out the Central Military Commission’s resolution on enhancing the quality of training in the 2023-2030 period and the upcoming years; strictly observe regulations and discipline; continue to build the militia force; raise the efficiency of standing militia posts; well conduct party, political, logistics, and technical work; pay attention to defense diplomacy activities; foster coordination to firmly manage the borderline and border markers, protect the people’s safety, ensure security and order in border areas; and build the borderline of peace, cooperation, and development.
