The defense leader laid stress on some key tasks that the post must put strong efforts on in the time ahead. He directed the post to continuously realize higher-level directives and resolutions, and be fully aware of their functions and missions. He asked it to coordinate closely with local party committees, authorities and other forces to safeguard the nation’s sovereignty and border security and create an environment of peace and stability for local and national socio-economic development.

Acknowledging hardships facing the border guard forces in general and troops of Lung Cu Border Post in particular, he hoped that the unit would continue to excel in defense diplomacy; strictly maintain regularity and discipline management. It should tighten solidarity and close bonds with local ethnic communities; and give advice to local Party committees and authorities, helping create synergy to ensure security and safety in all aspects.
