The parade will take place in Khanh Hoa province, with the participation of the naval, coast guard, border guard forces, and Military Region 5. Among these, the Navy Service’s force and equipment will serve as the core force, with the participation of Project 636 Kilo-class submarines, surface vessels, naval aviation units, and other specialized units.
Over the past time, the participating units have been working on detailed plans, selected elite personnel, conducted intensive training tailored to each vessel, and practiced parade protocols at port, including flag salutes, formation maneuvers, unit coordination, handling maritime scenarios, and rehearsing with maps, sand tables, and port movements.
Currently, all equipment, weapons, and military materiel for the parade have been thoroughly inspected and maintained to ensure optimal technical readiness, fully prepared to carry out the mission under real conditions.
The event provides an opportunity for naval officers and soldiers to show their spirit of emulation and dedication to the cause of firmly safeguarding national sovereignty over sea and islands, as well as celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19) and National Day (September 2).
During the working sessions with the participating units, Rear Admiral Nguyen Van Bach, Chief of Staff of the Naval Service, required all forces to strictly observe discipline; maintain tight personnel control; ensure absolute safety throughout the mission; and effectively ensure logistics and technical support, particularly regarding the readiness of ships, equipment, and weapons during training and the parade.
Below are some photos featuring the preparation work of the armed forces participating in the parade at sea.
