GDP opens refresher course for social sciences and humanities instructors
PANO - The General Department of Political Affairs (GDP) held a refresher course for social sciences and humanities instructors of military schools at the Signal Officer Training School on July 28.

During the three-day course, the trainees will be equipped with knowledge related to fundamental issues on the “New era – the era of nation’s rise”; the revolution in streamlining the political system's organizational structure and current emerging issues; the protection of national sovereignty over sea and islands in the new situation; digital transformation in teaching social sciences and humanities in military schools; promoting study and following Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality, and life-style in practicing revolutionary ethical standards among military officers and Party members; among others.

In his remarks, Lt. Gen. Truong Thien To emphasized that the training course should enhance the political-ideological awareness and comprehensive competence of the instructors, while equipping them with modern skills to innovate teaching methods, particularly effective application of digital transformation, artificial intelligence (AI), and technological platforms in the education of social sciences and humanities.

For the trainees and instructors, they should strictly observe military regulations and discipline, as well as the class’s rules, and actively engage in learning, exchange experience, and focus on acquiring knowledge to apply effectively in their teaching practice.
