PANO – A high-ranking military delegation led by Senior Lieutenant-General Nguyen Thanh Cung, Deputy Defence Minister, paid a visit to Army Corps 4 on September 6th.

At the working session, Major-General Nguyen Hoang, Commander of the Corps, gave General Cung and the delegation a briefing on the unit’s achievements in strictly implementing directives from the Central Military Party Commission and Defence Ministry, combat readiness, regular regulations and live-fire exercises. Besides, the Corps also accelerated the movement “Learning and following President Ho Chi Minh's moral example” and the implementation on criticism and self-criticism of the 11th Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee’s 4th Resolution.

Delivering a speech, General Cung highly valued the Corps’ successes over the past time to overcome difficulties to fulfil its tasks. He also noted that troops should continue to follow and disseminate the Party and State policies to fight against enemy reactionary arguments, work with localities to maintain social order and security, and promote finding and collecting sets of remains of martyrs.
