Seminar on President Ho Chi Minh’s thought held

At the seminar, delegates promoted experience of former leaders, while leaders of MR5 and Da Nang city commented on issues related to studying, applying, and promoting President Ho Chi Minh’s thought in the building of the Vietnam People’s Army, the whole people’s defense in the current context in MR5 region and Da Nang city.

Addressing the event, Lieutenant General Trinh Dinh Thach briefed participants upon the MR5’s situation and political tasks, as well as the application of President Ho Chi Minh’s thought to the building of the whole people’s defense and regional defensive areas. He also affirmed that over the past time, the MR5 has witnessed changes in awareness, thought, and action at all levels, promoted synergy among the whole-people, great unity in building the provincial defensive area and building the whole people’s defense in the region.

The seminar also highlighted MR5’s achievements and shortcomings in the study, application, and promotion of President Ho Chi Minh’s thought in building the Vietnam People’s Army, the whole people’s defense since 1986, in combination with features and assigned tasks of each unit. Meanwhile, it also proposed solutions to continue studying, applying and promoting President Ho Chi Minh’s thought in building the Vietnam People’s Army, the whole people’s defense towards 2030, with a vision to 2045.
