During the event, 11 teams from agencies and units under the command competed in football, volleyball, table tennis, badminton, tennis, running, strong soldiers, and swimming events.

The sports competition is one of the key contents in the training program of the President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Command in 2024. The event aims to evaluate its agencies and units’ outcomes in training and enhancing troops’ physical health.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Commander of the President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Command Senior Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Huan requested the organizing panel to seriously grasp the purpose, significance, and requirements of the event; closely follow approved contents; strictly observe regulations.

Senior Colonel Huan asked referees to make accurate and objective assessment. He urged the participating teams and athletes to heighten their responsibility, stay united, and be confident to obtain the highest results; strictly observe regulations and military disciplines and ensure absolute safety.

The event is slated to be wrapped up in late June.
