Addressing the event, Gen. Tan noted that, together with emulation movements of the youth across the country and those within the military, Youth Union work and youth movements across the GS have been implemented in a comprehensive and effective manner, obtaining significant results.

He stressed that amid increasingly demanding tasks in building and safeguarding the Fatherland, youths of the GS should demonstrate strong determination and extraordinary effort, continuing to play a pioneering and innovative role in fulfilling assigned missions, particularly in advancing science and technology, fostering innovation, and accelerating digital transformation.

In the time to come, the GS deputy chief required youth organizations and members in the GS to uphold traditions; remain ready to undertake and successfully accomplish all assigned tasks, especially in challenging environments. He also urged Party committees and chains-of-command at all levels to pay due attention and create favorable conditions for Youth Union organizations to serve as a vital environment for training, development, and maturation of young officers.

Also at the event, the organizing panel honored 10 outstanding young faces in the GS in 2025 and awarded 13 individuals who won the 25th Military Creative Youth Awards.
