Naval Service inspects, offers Tet wishes to Naval Region 2
PANO - On February 2, a delegation of the Naval Service, led by its Deputy Political Commissar Rear Admiral Do Van Yen, inspected, presented gifts, and extended Lunar New Year (Tet) greetings to officers and soldiers of Naval Region 2.
At the working session, Rear Admiral Nguyen Van Quan, Commander of Naval Region 2, reported on the unit’s 2025 task performance and preparations for the up-coming Tet holiday. Over the past year, Naval Region 2 excellently fulfilled numerous key tasks, including firmly protecting sea and island sovereignty, safeguarding maritime economic activities, conducting training and exercises, and enhancing sea and island dissemination.

Regarding training preparations for this year, the Naval Region 2 Command has thoroughly prepared lesson plans, training models, and simulation software. The unit has also safely bid farewell to discharged soldiers and is ready to receive and train new recruits.
Highly valuing achievements of Naval Region 2, Rear Admiral Do Van Yen requested the unit to strictly maintain duty regulations, ensuring that its troops and equipment are in a state of high combat readiness. The Deputy Political Commissar emphasized that the unit must not be subjective or lose vigilance before, during, and after the Tet holiday, maintaining absolute safety in all aspects.
