Naval Service checks training activities for recruits of Brigade 131
PANO - A delegation of the Naval Service led by Deputy Chief of Staff Senior Captain Nguyen Quoc Doanh checked the training work for recruits of Brigade 131 on May 19.
Particularly, the inspection focused on leadership and command activities; training methods; the quality of lesson plans, training materials, and training grounds; the ideological awareness of recruits; the organization and training methods of section-level officers; as well as the recruits' capability in infantry shooting, grenade throwing, and explosive charging, among others.
After the inspection, the delegation highly praised the training work for recruits and Phase 1 training of the brigade. After more than two months of training, the soldiers have shown good awareness, firmly grasped the training contents, and become proficient in using their assigned weapons and equipment; strictly observed military discipline, etiquette and manners, and safety protocols, etc.
Concluding the inspection, Sr. Cap. Nguyen Quoc Doanh required the unit to enhance inspection and training for recruits in line with the regulations and ensure safety, while striving to achieve “three practicalities in training,” especially in the “Three-Explosions” training, and ensuring that all soldiers are trained to swim.
Additionally, the unit should effectively conduct emulation movements, Party and political activities, and political and ideological education work to raise officers and soldiers’ awareness, responsibility and determination in task performance.
