Naval Academy opens training course on search and rescue
PANO – The National Center for Maritime Search and Rescue and the Vietnam Naval Academy opened a training course on search and rescue at sea on May 25.

The course is for 30 officers with assignments in search and rescue from the Centers for Maritime Search and Rescue (SAR) across the country.
During the 28-day training course, trainees will study the national and regional search and rescue systems, basic contents about implementing and managing search and rescue operations, communication systems, optimal search methods, SAR vehicle operation, first aid provision, and others.
The course aims to provide participants with basic knowledge of organizing training courses and deploying search and rescue missions at sea in the coming time.
