Outstanding teams honored at the event

The contest drew the participation of 11 search and rescue teams from military regions, army corps, and services in the whole military. During the program, participants competed at three categories, including overcoming special obstacles, relay race, and finishing.

This is the first time the contest has been organized despite the complicated developments of the COVID-19 pandemic and difficulties in materiel, and all participating teams performed well during the contest.

After three days, they completed the contest with absolute safety. The first, second, and third prizes went to teams of Military Region 1 and the Engineering Corps, Military Region 3 and Army Corps 1, Military Region 2 and the Commando Corps, respectively.

Concluding the contest, Lieutenant General Nguyen Trong Binh requested the athletes to continue promoting the traditions of the Vietnam People’s Army as well as the noble virtues of Uncle Ho's soldiers to overcome difficulties so as to fulfill assigned missions. Meanwhile, they should also comprehensively implement their tasks while taking part in search and rescue missions, pandemic prevention and control, deserving to be a core role in peacetime.

Winners of the contest will be selected to join the Army Games 2022. Therefore, they should be determined and train to get the highest results during their upcoming competition.
