In recent years, the National Defense Academy has strengthened international training cooperation, successfully organizing five courses for 103 defense officials from 36 countries. It has also trained nearly 600 LPA officers in 70 courses and over 300 RCAF officers across 21 courses.

Participants in the 6th International Defense Officials Training Program will study topics including Vietnam’s history of national construction and defense, its political system, defense and foreign policies, military culture, and ethnic and religious issues. They will also learn about human rights in Vietnam, the country’s national defense strategies, and its stance on maritime issues. Additionally, trainees will have the opportunity to visit historical and cultural sites in Vietnam and exchange with the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA).

In the programs for LPA and RCAF officers, participants will receive training in military strategies and operations, Party and political work, and Marxist-Leninist theory, along with introduction about command, reconnaissance, technical-logistical supply, and local military affairs, military services and corps of the VPA. These topics aim to improve participants' strategic foresight, analytical abilities, enabling them to effectively tackle national defense and security challenges at the operational and strategic levels.
