MR9 holds 11th Party Congress

Deputy Defense Minister Sr. Lt. Gen. Vo Minh Luong attended and directed the event.

In his remarks, Sr. Lt. Gen. Vo Minh Luong required the MR9’s Party Organization to focus on leading and directing the strict implementation of the guidelines and instructions of the Party Central Committee, the Central Military Commission, and the Ministry of National Defense, while pro-actively grasping the situation, strictly maintaining combat readiness status, and promptly giving advice to high levels to effectively handle any circumstances.

He also urged MR9 to continue to innovate and improve training quality, exercises, and combat readiness capabilities; effectively implement breakthroughs; and building MR9’s armed forces into a comprehensively strong, “exemplary and typical” unit.

Delegates at the event

The region should streamline and strengthen the organizational structure of the forces; improve the quality of military recruitment; effectively implement the "Digital Literacy for All" movement; promote breakthroughs in science and technology development; effectively carry out mass mobilization work, policies for the military and its rear, and gratitude activities; and enhance the quality of political and ideological education to successfully accomplish all assigned tasks, among others.
