The remains were found by Search and Collection Team K72 of the Binh Phuoc provincial Military Command from February 25 to April 19 and were gathered at the provincial War Cemetery.

In his speech at the event, a provincial leader emphasized that the search and collection of remains of martyrs is both a good deed of those who are alive for those who sacrificed their lives and an important and urgent task. This time’s service was meaningful since it took place at a time the whole nation is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the South Liberation and National Reunification Day (April 30).
At the event, the National Steering Committee 515 and Military Region 7 presented gifts as an encouragement to Team K72 and the Management Board of Binh Phuoc provincial War Cemetery.

Participants reminisced about their unforgettable and glorious days in the past struggle for national reunification, expressed deep gratitude to the fallen, and emphasized the role of younger generations in keeping peace, promoting the nation’s glorious revolutionary traditions.
* The same day, a delegation from the Central Military Commission and Ministry of National Defense, led by Deputy Defense Minister Sr. Lt. Gen. Vu Hai San, visited and presented gifts to former Deputy Defense Ministers Sr. Lt. Gen. Nguyen Van Duoc and Sr. Lt. Gen. Nguyen Van Rinh.

During the visit, Gen. San reported on remarkable results in task performances of the whole military in 2024 and the first quarter of this year as well as the military’s focal missions in the time to come. He wished his two predecessors good health, and hoped for their continued attention and opinions on defense consolidation, Fatherland protection, and military building.

Do Xuan Tung led a GDP mission to offer incense in commemoration of late General Nguyen Quyet, former Secretary of the Party Central Committee, former Vice Chairman of the State Council, former GDP Director and former Deputy Defense Minister.
