PANO – In the framework of his working trip to Nghe An province, Minister of Public Security General To Lam on January 8 visited and handed over New Year gifts to troops at the Border Post of Thanh Thuy International Border Gate.
Head of the Party Central Committee's Commission for Internal Affairs Phan Dinh Trac, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Vu Chien Thang, Secretary of the Party Committee of Nghe An province Thai Thanh Quy, Chairman of the Nghe An provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung, and leaders of the Nghe An provincial Border Guard Command also attended the event.

Over the past time, troops of the Border Post of Thanh Thuy International Border Gate have closely worked with units stationed in the areas to both manage the border areas and prevent and control the COVID-19 pandemic.
Meanwhile, the unit also coordinated with relevant forces in the fight against crimes, especially drug-related crimes, to maintain political security and social order in the area.
Presenting Tet gifts to the troops, General Lam hoped they would overcome difficulties and challenges to successfully accomplish their assigned tasks and ensure safety in the area on the occasion of the coming Lunar New Year 2021.
