On this occasion, Lieutenant General Nguyen Cong Dinh, the academy’s Director, briefed the mission on its task performance in the 2018-2019 school year as well as directions for the implementation of its assignments in the future.
Accordingly, over the past time, the school has focused on capacity building for its education managers and teaching staff while consolidating its Party organization so as to become a comprehensively strong and healthy unit.

At this point, the academy offers 43 undergraduate courses, 48 master and doctorate programs, and many short refresher courses to meet urgent need for training of military units. Its instructors have actively innovated training methods and training programs, and boosted scientific research.
Concluding the event, General Cuong hailed and highly valued the fruitful results attained by the academy, saying that it should take advantage of opportunities produced by the fourth Industrial Revolution in implementing military-defense tasks to further contribute to the cause of building a revolutionary, regular, elite and gradually modern military.
Apart from successfully performing education and training tasks, the academy was requested to pay due attention to boosting scientific research, and producing new highly-applicable products and conducting technology transfer.
The military political chief asked the academy’s leadership to further promote internal solidarity, enhance the quality and capacity of the academy’s teaching staff, innovate its training methods and programs to raise the training quality, and to build a healthy Party organization and a comprehensively strong unit. Thus, deserving to be the major center for scientific and technological research of the military and the country.
On behalf of the Central Military Commission and Defense Ministry, General Cuong congratulated the academy’s staff on the 37th anniversary of the Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20).
