Speaking at the inspection, Gen. Tan praised the forces responsible for preparing the election at the polling station, noting that the preparations had been carried out carefully.

He emphasized that the election is a major political event of the country and a festival of the entire nation. Therefore, every citizen should recognize the pride, honor and responsibility reflected in each vote to elect truly deserving representatives.

He requested the election preparation forces to coordinate closely with local authorities to ensure the election is conducted successfully and with absolute safety. Special attention should be paid to welcoming voters thoughtfully, particularly elderly voters and those in poor health.

He also stressed that election communications efforts should not only focus on traditional media outlets, but also be promoted on social media platforms to counter and refute distorted narratives about the election spread by hostile forces.
