Military press agencies should promote its pioneering role
PANO – Marking the 96th Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925-2021), a delegation of the General Department of Politics (GDP) of the Vietnam People’s Army, led by its Deputy Director Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet, visited and congratulated the Party Central Committee (PCC)'s Commission for Information and Education on June 16.

During the visit, General Quyet congratulated and thanked the PCC’s Commission for Information and Education for supervising, directing and instructing press agencies in general and military press agencies in particular over the past time, contributing to raising the quality and effectiveness of press and publishing work in the military.
For his part, Mr. Nghia hailed military press agencies’ achievements over the past time, emphasizing that they have promoted their pioneering role in disseminating information about the Party’s guidelines and State’s policies and laws.
In addition, military journalists have always reported and covered events in all aspects of the country and armed forces in a timely manner. Meanwhile, press agencies in the military also honored outstanding individuals, promoted patriotic emulation, contributed to poverty reduction, and took care of policy people and national contributors. Especially, they are the core force in the front of the protection of the Party's ideological foundation.
On this occasion, the Head of the PCC’s Commission for Information and Education also requested military press agencies to continue upholding and promoting dissemination work while finding out the most effective dissemination measures so as to meet all the readers’ demand.
