Military Broadcasting Center’s digital transformation checked
PANO - On April 4, Deputy Defense Minister Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh chaired the conference to review the implementation of administrative reform and digital transformation of the Military Broadcasting Center.
At the event, Director of the Military Broadcasting Center Senior Colonel Pham Van Tu emphasized that over the past time, the center’s Party Committee and the Board of Directors have considered administrative reform and digital transformation one of the key missions which is important to enhance efficiency of task implementation and fulfillment of the center. The Military Broadcasting Center has well conducted the digital transformation in journalism and effectively applied information technology to the production and broadcasting of programs on QPVN Channel, the Voice of Vietnam Radio, and Vietnam Television.

To date, all of the center's staffer and technicians have been trained in using the newsroom software for program production. All workstations at the center are connected to military computer networks. It has digitized several administrative, financial, and political processes; sent notifications, conclusions, and plans via email or posted them on the newsroom software while ensuring compliance with information security regulations. The center has also put into use the document and operation management software system in all departments and units.
Addressing the event, General Vinh acknowledged and praised the achievements in administrative reform and digital transformation by the Military Broadcasting Center in recent times.
The defense leader requested the center’s Party Committee and Board of Directors to continue to review and fully implement digital transformation in leadership, management, and military administrative operations; innovate thinking, leadership methods, and operational models to adapt to the digital environment; focus on researching and perfecting the overall design of information technology models and digital platforms, striving to become one of the exemplary agencies in administrative reform and digital transformation.

Additionally, the center should maintain and improve the quality of radio and television programs; and pro-actively cooperate with agencies and units both inside and outside the military to apply the achievements of information technology to their task implementation; periodically check systems to detect and handle information security vulnerabilities, while deploying solutions to ensure information security and cyber-security.
