Ho Van Ngai is one of the enlistees in Khe Ngat hamlet, Bo Trach district. Ngai is a Bru-Van Kieu ethnic minority. After graduating from high school, he learned mechanical engineering and then had a stable job with a salary of around VND 6 million a month.

Ho Van Ngai (first, right) receives a breeding cow from the Military Command of Bo Trach district.

He volunteered to join the military. However, his family is facing many difficulties, as his parents do not have stable jobs and are not in good health condition.

His family was very touched when the Military Command of Bo Trach district and other sponsors presented them with a breeding cow worth VND 10 million. “I pledge to take care of the cow to develop household economy. And at the same time, I would further encourage my son to fulfill his duty,” said Ho Van Chanh, Ngai’s father.

Over the past four years, Bo Trach district's Military Command has handed over 28 breeding cows and four pigs to needy enlisted youths.

Ngai was one of the 10 new recruits who received breeding cows from the Military Command of Bo Trach district. The other recipients, whose families are facing difficulties, come from various localities in the district.
