On behalf of the GDP leaders, General Gau applauded the remarkable achievements and contribution of the Military Women Advisory Board over the past years, requiring the unit to grasp the targets and tasks of the revolution and the military to implement women work and movements in an effective manner.
The board should seriously implement the Party’s guidelines, State’s policies, and Central Military Commission and Defense Ministry’s directions on women work; and at the same time, raise the quality and efficiency of women activities in the military.
* The same day, Women’s Union chapters of several units of the GDP joined a delegation to inquire after needy female patients who are under treatment at Dong Da General Hospital in Hanoi.

During their visit, they handed over 50 lunch packs and 50 gifts to needy female patients.
* On March 5 and 6, Military Hospital 103 under the Military Medical University held various activities in celebration of the International Women's Day (March 8), such as cooking competition, presenting gifts to female cadres and employees, hosting an ao dai (Vietnamese traditional long dress) performance, and organizing mini games.

These activities aimed to popularize tradition of Vietnamese women in general and contribution of generations of the hospital’s female staff, and encourage the participants to try their best to fulfill assigned tasks.
