The delegation paid tribute at the Bach Long Vi Martyrs’ Memorial and presented gifts to fishing vessels; visited and extended Tet greetings to the district’s Party Committee, People’s Committee, Public Security force, and Bach Long Vi Primary School; and also inspected combat readiness and greeted units stationed on the island.

After receiving briefings on political tasks, the delegation discussed coordination efforts in safeguarding maritime sovereignty and maintaining security in assigned waters.

Rear Admiral Tran Xuan Van praised the resilience and responsibility of the troops and local residents. He reaffirmed that Naval Region 1 and the entire military remain committed to supporting local authorities and people in socioeconomic development, national defense, and protecting the nation's territorial integrity.

He urged units to maintain high vigilance and strictly observe duty regulations to ensure a safe, peaceful Tet for the community. Furthermore, he requested that commanders organize a warm yet economical holiday for troops, effectively implement military policies, and provide necessary support for personnel to fulfill their duties.

The delegation also presented gifts, conveying the mainland's affection and trust to the island's soldiers and civilians.
