* Senior Captain Nguyen Van Bong, Political Commissar of the Naval Service, on March 8 chaired a get-together for its female members. During the event, the general highly appreciated their contribution to the service, hoping that they will further uphold acquired achievements, accomplish tasks, and build happy families at the same time.

* Representatives of the Women’s Union of the Vietnam Border Guard Command’s Department of Politics gathered in a meeting to mark this year’s International Women’s Day. The participants recalled the glorious tradition of Vietnamese women, military women and women of the border guard force, while affirming to successfully fulfill all entrusted missions.

* On March 7 and 8, the X55 Factory of the Naval Service’s Department of Technical Services worked with Can Tho city to organize an exchange with local female residents. At the meeting, they handed over gifts and money in cash to local heroic Vietnamese mothers, members of the municipal Women’s Union, and needy students.

* During a seminar hosted by Brigade 971 of the Transportation Department under the General Department of Logistics, female personnel of the unit highlighted the role of women in national development, shared experience in building a happy family, and pledged to further complete their political tasks.

* According to a report at a meeting held by Thai Son Group of the Ministry of National Defense, its female members have well raised their awareness of conducting missions, actively joined hands in doing business and responding to emulation drives, and effectively partaken in COVID-19 prevention and control work.

* At the historical relic site of Cu Chi Tunnel, the Ho Chi Minh City Military Command held a ceremony to present its merit certificates to 26 outstanding servicewomen, who had contributed to the fight against the pandemic so far, and congratulated them on the occasion of the 112nd International Women’s Day.
