GS’s mission inspects Brigade 132’s training of combat readiness status shifting
PANO – A mission of the General Staff (GS), led by Deputy Director of the Department of Operations Major General Tran Hong Cong, inspected and observed Brigade 132’s training of combat readiness status shifting on March 11.

The visiting delegates checked the brigade’s systems of documents and observed its troops’ performance of steps in shifting combat readiness to a higher status.
On behalf of the mission, Major General Tran Hong Cong highly appreciated the brigade for its outcomes in task performance. In particular, the unit’s Party Committee and Chain-of-Command thoroughly grasped higher levels’ directives, plans, and guidance and made careful preparations for the event.
He evaluated that during the training session, the brigade’s chain-of-command, agencies, and units showed their deep understanding of training contents as well as their harmonious coordination. The training contents were in line with current situation and requirements of missions of agencies and units in the brigade.
He added that participating troops joining the combat readiness shifting training demonstrated their high sense of responsibility and swiftness.
Major General Tran Hong Cong asked Brigade 132 to continue studying and adjusting some combat readiness shifting contents and methods to be in line with the requirements of ensuring operational communication in strategic localities in the Central region, including the Central Highlands.
