At the meeting, the delegates were briefed on the outcomes of information dissemination of the two military press agencies over the past time. They also listened to proposals of the agencies’ leaders to enhance their dissemination work in the time to come.

In addition, participants clarified advantages and disadvantages of the work over the past time while suggesting measures to enhance position and reputation of the two press agencies in particular and the military press in general.
Speaking at the event, General Quyet acknowledged and spoke highly of the achievements of the two press agencies over the past time, especially in disseminating information related to the Party’s guidelines, the State’s policies, and the military-defense missions for troops and people.

At the same time, the agencies have promptly reflected training activities for combat readiness of the whole-military units and outcomes of the renovation process, forecast emerging issues in building the country, the military and the whole-people defense posture. Also, they have organized information dissemination campaigns on national important anniversaries, defense external affairs, COVID-19 prevention and control, and so on.
Notably, the two agencies have proved their roles in fighting “peaceful evolution” and preventing “self-evolution” and “self-transformation” inside the military, contributing to firmly maintaining political and ideological stance for troops.

General Quyet asked the two agencies to enhance information dissemination on the implementation of the 13th National Party Congress, the 11th Military Party Congress, the Central Military Commission’s resolutions on leading the implementation of military-defense missions and building the military Party organizations in 2021 and the following years.
He also urged the agencies’ leaderships to focus on enhancing capabilities for reporters and editors while collaborating with relevant organs to improve task performance in the time to come.
