On this occasion, Major General Doan Xuan Bo, the PAN’s Editor-in-Chief, reviewed the newspaper’s important landmarks during its development and the newspaper’s active coverage of socio-political, economic and cultural events and diplomatic activities, especially the national efforts to cope with the recent resurgence of the COVID-19 pandemic in the country.
Bo also emphasized that the PAN has effectively boosted the dissemination of information about the recent elections of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and the People’s Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 tenure and updated the official list of elected candidates.
Congratulating the PAN on Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, General Ty spoke highly of the newspaper’s good task performance over the past time. He also highly appreciated the newspaper’s contributions to the nation and the military’s achievements in implementing the dual tasks of economic development and pandemic combat.

Furthermore, he applauded the military’s good results in natural disaster prevention, search and rescue, and ensuring security at sea, on islands, and in border areas.
Praising the PAN for its close coordination with relevant agencies to further disseminate information about the NA activities, General Ty asked the newspaper to bring into full play its glorious tradition and run more quality articles.
The newspaper should also comprehensively report the NA’s activities and the aspirations of voters nationwide, including military personnel. It should also act as a link between the NA, troops and people, contributing to increasing the efficiency of the NA activities, General Ty said.
