GDP’s leader chairs 22nd working session of CMC’s Inspection Committee
PANO – On April 28, in Hanoi, the Inspection Committee of the Central Military Commission (CMC) in 2020-2025 period held the 22nd working session to elect an additional Deputy Head of the Inspection Committee for the 2020-2025 term and to review and propose disciplinary action against seven individuals.
The meeting was chaired by Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet, Chief of the General Department of Political Affairs of the Vietnam People’s Army, and Head of the CMC’s Inspection Committee.

At the meeting, delegates voted to elect Major General Khong Van Minh as the Deputy Head of the Inspection Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
Also at the event, delegates reviewed, analyzed, and discussed violations of the seven individuals. Then they cast votes to take disciplinary action against these individuals.
Concluding the working session, Gen. Quyet hailed opinions contributed at the meeting, while requesting the Standing Board of the CMC’s Inspection Committee to collect these comments and soon complete a report to submit to the Standing Board of the CMC.
Regarding the upcoming Party congresses for the 2025-2030 term at all levels, the Standing Board of the CMC’s Inspection Committee should actively grasp situation to give advice to the CMC’s Standing Board and the CMC’s Inspection Committee to direct the inspection, supervision, and disciplinary actions, so as to make thorough preparation for the success of these important events.
