At Tinh Tra war cemetery, Gen. To and the delegation offered incense at individual graves, expressing profound gratitude to those who sacrificed their lives for Vietnam's independence and freedom.
During visits to policy beneficiary families, the GDP leader inquired after their health and living conditions, expressed gratitude to them for their contributions to the nation. He wished them good health and encouraged them to continue promoting revolutionary traditions and contribute to their hometown’s development.
Gen. To asked local authorities and military units to further improve support for war veterans, policy beneficiaries, and national contributors.
On the occasion, he presented 50 gift packages to policy beneficiary families in Ba Gia commune.
* The same day, GDP’s Deputy Chief Sr. Lt. Gen. Do Xuan Tung led a supervision delegation to visit Brigade 229 under the Engineering Corps.
The supervision focused on the brigade's leadership in fulfilling political tasks, Party building, compliance with Party principles and working regulations, and implementation of measures on power control and the prevention of corruption, wastefulness, and negative phenomena.
Following reports and on-site inspections, the delegation concluded that Brigade 229's Party Committee had effectively implemented the supervision plan, maintained discipline, strengthened Party building, and adopted leadership measures tailored to its operational requirements.
Gen. Tung highly appreciated the brigade's thorough preparation and innovative leadership models, which have improved both mission performance and Party building.

He requested the unit to address identified shortcomings, continue strictly implementing democratic centralism, strengthen the education and management of cadres and Party members, and rigorously enforce regulations on power control, anti-corruption, anti-wastefulness, and anti-misconduct, and enhance inspection and supervision.
The GDP’s deputy chief emphasized that the supervision results would provide an important basis for evaluating the leadership of the Engineering Corps’ Party Committee while helping Party committees and chains-of-command at all levels identify strengths and weaknesses, improve leadership measures and capability, and build healthy and strong Party organizations and cells capable of meeting future mission requirements.
