GDP further promotes e-government building
PANO – The Steering Committee of E-government building of the Organs General Department of Politics (GDP) held a conference, chaired by its head and Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics Senior Lieutenant General Do Can, to review its task performance in 2020 and roll out missions for this year.
Last year, the organs achieved certain results in building the e-government. In addition, the units also actively worked with relevant agencies to instruct and direct the management and leadership as well as ensure the safety of information.
The organs also deployed a safety network model according to the regulations of the Ministry of National Defense and instructed agencies and units to prepare the security level of their information systems.
Currently, information technology facilities at GDP’s affiliated units are optimized for management and operation and ensure timely response and troubleshooting in accordance with procedures.
Addressing the event, General Can hailed the achievements of the GDP’s organs and pointed out their shortcomings and weaknesses. He also requested the units to continue embracing tasks and targets in e-government building, developing and expanding infrastructure and connecting networks in the GDP, and ensuring cyber security, among others.
