GDDI youths active in Youth Month 2022

Youth union members of the GDDI and the Department of External Reconnaissance present gifts to local policy beneficiary families.

The organization has teamed with the youth union organizations of the Department of External Reconnaissance under the Ministry of Public Security and Giao Thuy district to present gifts to seven heroic Vietnamese mothers and 10 policy beneficiary families.

They have given 100 life-jackets and national flags to local fishermen, and granted scholarships and helmets to 20 needy students with outstanding academic results.

In addition, the organization has provided Giao Thuy district with 3,000 medical masks, 450 bags of fumigants, 20 products to support the COVID-19 treatment.

The joint force has also planted 100 Bodhi trees and released 10,000 shrimp seeds and 100 sea bass and different kinds of fry in a hope of regenerating aquatic resources of Xuan Thuy National Park. 

Addressing the event, Doan Quang Hung, Chairman of the district People’s Committee, thanked Party committees and chains-of-command of units under the GDDI and the Department of External Reconnaissance of the Ministry of Public Security, as well as their youth union members.

Chairman Hung stressed that the activities have demonstrated youths’ vanguard and voluntary role. These practical activities have contributed to celebrating the 91st founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and tightening the solidarity and closeness between youths of the armed forces and youths of Giao Thuy district.
