During the month, the municipal youth union chapter will promote information dissemination to heighten local people’s and children’s awareness of observation of pandemic prevention and control regulations. It will also maintain forces to participate in pandemic fight while focusing on raising youth’s vanguard and voluntary spirit and professionalism to be able to fulfil all political missions.
Youth organizations under the city’s youth union chapter will provide career consultation to at least 10,000 people, introduce jobs to 5,000 youths, hold courses to equip around 20,000 people with social skills, propose at least 15,000 initiatives, plant 5,000 trees, build 10 entertainment facilities for children, and introduce 600 eminent youth union members to be admitted to the Party.
Each youth organization will build at least one project to mark youth union’s congresses at all levels, organize at least one civilized urban area or new-styled rural area building program, and launch at least one economic development model. Districts’ youth union chapters are requested to send at least one product to participate in the “One Commune One Product” program.
Various activities, including the 20th Ho Hao Hon Award, the 2nd Youth Festival, a cycling tournament, a voluntary day for community, and a seminar on economic recovery after COVID-19 pandemic, will be held during the month.
After the launch ceremony, the city’s youth cleaned Tan Tru - Hy Vong canal, joined a painting activity on environmental protection, presented national flags and trees to local people, installed classified waste bins, visited and gave gifts to pandemic-affected youths, held an exercise on fire prevention and extinguishing, and provided health consultation for those who had recovered from SARS-CoV-2.
As planned, affiliated youth organizations under the city’s Youth Union Organization will launch their youth month program 2022.
