Diversified activities are underway nationwide to mark the National Resistance War (Dec. 19) and the 62nd founding anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army (Dec. 22).

 

Gia Lai province’s museum has opened a documentary and photo exhibition with the theme, “Uncle Ho with the revolution and with people of various ethnic minority groups in Vietnam”.

On display are more than 200 photos and pictures divided into 3 categories: “Uncle Ho during the revolution and with ethnic minority people of Vietnam”; “Vietnamese ethnic groups are united and determined to follow the revolutionary path chosen by the Party and Uncle Ho”; “The fight for national protection and liberation of the entire Vietnamese people and soldiers” and “Images of the country in the renewal process”.

The museum also opened an exhibition, “Gia Lai on the way of development”, with photos taken recently by officials and staff of local agencies.

In addition, several documentaries about the Resistance War and Uncle Ho will be screened on this occasion.

Meanwhile, on Dec. 18, an exhibition named “Hanoi - the heroic capital and the city for peace” was opened in Hanoi.

The exhibition showcases nearly 300 valuable documents and exhibits documenting heroic struggles against the French and Americans and national construction during the renewal process in Hanoi.
