Distressed fishermen return to locality
PANO - The Center for Logistics and Technology of Sinh Ton Island under Naval Squadron 129 of Saigon Newport Corporation handed over 46 fishermen on troubled boat QNg 95834 TS to the local authorities on September 16.

Earlier, trawler QNg 95834 TS with 46 fishermen aboard, captained by Nguyen Dinh Truong from Binh Chanh commune, Binh Son district, Quang Ngai province, ran aground about 4.5 nautical miles off Phan Vinh Island.
After receiving the mayday signal, Naval Squadron 129 sent Ship 741 to the scene.
On the morning of September 12, ship 741 brought 46 fishermen to the Center for Logistics and Technology of Sinh Ton Island. After receiving the distressed fishermen, the center gave first aid, arranged accommodation, and provided necessities for them.

Before returning to the locality, captain Nguyen Dinh Truong and 45 fishermen expressed their deep gratitude to officers and staff of the Center and Naval Squadron 129.
