Demining in Dong Thap Muoi
PANO – Over the past years, explosive remnants of war (ERW) have been unearthed and disposed in Dong Thap Muoi thanks to the great effort of Bomb and Mine Disposal Company 319 sappers.
Under the direction of the Ministry of National Defense, they have overcome difficulties and challenges to fulfill their assigned mission while ensuring the absolute safety for personnel and equipment.
On the occasion of the International Day for Mine Awareness & Assistance in Mine Action (April 4), The People’s Army Newspaper would like to introduce some images relating to unexploded ordnance clearance in Dong Thap Muoi:
